Gizlilik Politikası

Kısaca: Üyelik yok. Ad, e-posta, telefon veya şifre istemiyoruz. Uygulama anonim bir hesap oluşturur. Profil seçimlerin, derslerin, devamsızlık kayıtların ve asistan sohbetlerin bu hesaba bağlı olarak sunucumuzda saklanır. Asistan'a yazdıkların yanıt üretmek için bir yapay zekâ sağlayıcısına gönderilir. Reklam ve izleme (tracking) araçları kullanmıyoruz.

1. Kimiz

Atılım Companion, Atılım Üniversitesi öğrencileri için Demir Bülbüloğlu tarafından geliştirilen bağımsız bir uygulamadır. Atılım Üniversitesi'nin resmi uygulaması değildir ve üniversiteyle bağlantılı değildir. Bu politikada "biz", uygulamanın geliştiricisini ifade eder.

2. Anonim hesap

Uygulama ilk açılışta, Convex Auth ile otomatik olarak anonim bir hesap oluşturur. Bu hesap için ad, e-posta, telefon numarası veya şifre istenmez. Hesabın oturum anahtarları cihazının güvenli depolamasında (iOS Anahtar Zinciri) tutulur. Sunucuda, hesabı tanımlayan rastgele bir kullanıcı kimliği ve oturum kayıtları bulunur.

Uygulamada hesabı başka bir cihaza taşıma veya eşitleme özelliği yoktur ve hesap bir e-posta adresine bağlı değildir. Bu yüzden sana e-postayla ulaştığında hangi anonim hesabın senin olduğunu her zaman belirleyemeyebiliriz (bkz. Saklama ve silme).

3. Sunucuda saklananlar

Aşağıdaki veriler anonim hesabına bağlı olarak Convex üzerindeki veritabanımızda saklanır:

Derslerini ve devamsızlık kayıtlarını uygulamada istediğin zaman kaldırabilirsin. Fakülte ve sınıf grubu seçimini değiştirebilirsin.

Duyurular, sınav programı, akademik takvim, etkinlikler, topluluklar, ulaşım, harita ve yemek bilgileri herkese açık kaynaklardan alınır. Bunlar kişisel veri değildir ve hesabına bağlı tutulmaz.

4. Cihazında kalanlar

Aşağıdakiler sadece cihazında tutulur. Uygulama kodu bunları veritabanımıza yazmaz:

Takip ettiğin topluluklar. Bu toplulukların yaklaşan etkinliklerini göstermek için liste sunucuya bir sorgu olarak gönderilir, ancak hesabına bağlı olarak saklanmaz.
Hatırlatma tercihlerin ve planlanmış yerel bildirimler.
Dil seçimi (ayrıca profilinde de saklanır).
Widget verisi: ana ekran widget'ının gösterdiği sıradaki ders ve sınav bilgisi.

5. Asistan ve yapay zekâ

Asistan'a bir soru gönderdiğinde, yanıt üretmek için şu bilgiler sunucumuz üzerinden yapılandırdığımız yapay zekâ sağlayıcısına gönderilir:

Mesajın ve aynı sohbetteki önceki mesajlar (en fazla son 20 mesaj),
Sorunun gerektirdiği herkese açık bilgiler (ör. sınav programı, yönetmelik, duyurular),
Soru senin derslerin veya devamsızlıkların hakkındaysa: eklediğin derslerin programı, bu derslerin sınavları ve devamsızlık kayıtların.

Uygulama kodunda varsayılan sağlayıcı OpenAI'dır. Sağlayıcı bu verileri kendi koşulları ve gizlilik politikası kapsamında işler. Sağlayıcıyı değiştirirsek bu sayfayı güncelleriz.

Asistan'a ad, öğrenci numarası, şifre, sağlık bilgisi veya başka hassas bilgiler yazma. Asistan bunlara ihtiyaç duymaz.

Ayrıca duyuruların kısa özetleri, kategorileri ve İngilizce çevirileri aynı sağlayıcı ile otomatik üretilir. Bu işlemde sadece herkese açık duyuru metinleri kullanılır, senin verilerin kullanılmaz.

6. Konum ve harita

Konum izni isteğe bağlıdır. İzin verirsen konumun, kampüs haritasında yerini göstermek için cihazında kullanılır. Sana en yakın durağı bulmak için konumun yaklaşık 100 metreye yuvarlanır ve sunucumuza bir sorgu olarak gönderilir. Uygulama kodu konumunu veritabanımıza yazmaz ve konum geçmişi tutmaz. Konum sadece uygulama açıkken kullanılır.

Harita, iOS'ta Apple Haritalar ile gösterilir. Yol tarifi istediğinde hedef koordinatlar Apple Haritalar'a (o uygulama yoksa Google Haritalar'a) iletilir. Bu hizmetler veriyi kendi gizlilik politikalarına göre işler. Harita verilerinin bir kısmı OpenStreetMap katkıcılarına aittir.

7. Takvim

Bir dersi veya sınavı takvimine eklemek istediğinde, iOS'un etkinlik ekleme ekranı açılır ve eklemeyi sen onaylarsın. Uygulama takvimindeki mevcut etkinlikleri okumaz ve takvim verisini sunucumuza göndermez.

8. Bildirimler

Bildirim izni isteğe bağlıdır. Sınav, ders, akademik takvim ve etkinlik hatırlatmaları cihazında yerel bildirim olarak planlanır. Bunlar için sunucuya veri gönderilmez.

Uygulamanın şu anki sürümü anlık bildirim (push) token'ını sunucumuza göndermez. Sunucu altyapımız, ileride önemli duyurular ve sınav değişiklikleri için bir Expo bildirim token'ını ve cihaz platformunu (iOS veya Android) hesabına bağlı saklayabilecek şekilde hazırlandı. Bu özelliği açarsak bu politikayı güncelleriz. Bu durumda bildirimler Expo'nun bildirim servisi ve Apple'ın bildirim altyapısı üzerinden iletilir.

9. Hizmet sağlayıcılar

Verilerini satmayız. Uygulamayı çalıştırmak için şu hizmetleri kullanırız:

Convex: Sunucu, veritabanı ve anonim hesap altyapısı. Yukarıdaki sunucu verileri Convex'te saklanır ve Türkiye dışındaki sunucularda işlenebilir.
OpenAI (veya yapılandırılmış yapay zekâ sağlayıcısı): Asistan yanıtları, arama ve duyuru özetleri.
Expo: Uygulama güncellemeleri. Uygulama, güncelleme olup olmadığını kontrol etmek için Expo'nun sunucularına bağlanır. Bu istekler IP adresi, uygulama sürümü ve platform gibi standart teknik bilgiler içerebilir.
Apple: App Store, Apple Haritalar ve bildirim altyapısı.

Duyuru, etkinlik ve topluluk görselleri doğrudan kaynak sitelerden (ör. atilim.edu.tr) yüklenebilir. Uygulamada açtığın bağlantılar (ör. üniversite sayfaları, EGO, bilet siteleri, Instagram) ilgili sitenin kendi politikalarına tabidir. Bu siteler IP adresin gibi standart bağlantı bilgilerini görebilir.

10. Reklam ve izleme

Uygulamada reklam yoktur. Uygulamaya reklam, analitik veya izleme (tracking) SDK'sı eklemedik. Verilerini reklam amacıyla kullanmayız ve seni başka şirketlerin uygulama veya sitelerinde izlemeyiz.

11. Saklama ve silme

Sunucudaki veriler, anonim hesap var olduğu sürece saklanır. Hesabını ve ilişkili verilerini uygulamada Ayarlar > Hesap ve veriler > Hesabımı ve verilerimi sil adımlarından silebilirsin. Onayından sonra hesap erişimi hemen kapanır. Profilin, ders seçimlerin, devamsızlık kayıtların, asistan sohbetlerin ve hesap oturumların arka planda kalıcı olarak silinir. Süren bir asistan yanıtı varsa, silme işlemi bu işlemin durmasını bekler.

Cihazındaki uygulama hatırlatmaları, takip ettiğin topluluklar ve widget içeriği temizlenir. Cihaz takvimine kendin eklediğin etkinlikleri takvim uygulamasından silmelisin. Yapay zekâ sağlayıcısının kendi politikasına göre tuttuğu kayıtlar bu işlemle silinmez. Yeni bir anonim hesap açmak eski verilerini geri getirmez.

Uygulamayı kaldırmak sunucudaki hesabını silmez. Silme veya gizlilik konusunda desteğe ihtiyaç duyarsan demirbulbuloglu61@gmail.com adresine yaz. Şifre, doğrulama kodu veya öğrenci bilgi sistemi giriş bilgilerini gönderme.

12. Bu web sitesi

Bu web sitesi çerez, analitik aracı veya üçüncü taraf script kullanmaz. Site Vercel'de barındırılır. Vercel, siteyi sunmak için IP adresi gibi standart teknik bilgileri işleyebilir.

13. Değişiklikler ve iletişim

Uygulama değiştikçe bu politikayı güncelleriz ve tarihini yukarıda belirtiriz. Uygulama üniversite öğrencileri için tasarlandı, çocuklara yönelik değildir. Soruların için: demirbulbuloglu61@gmail.com

Privacy Policy

In short: There is no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or password. The app creates an anonymous account. Your profile choices, courses, absence records and assistant conversations are stored on our server, linked to that account. What you write to the assistant is sent to an AI provider to generate the answer. We do not use advertising or tracking tools.

1. Who we are

Atılım Companion is an independent app for Atılım University students, developed by Demir Bülbüloğlu. It is not an official app of Atılım University and has no affiliation with the university. In this policy, "we" means the developer of the app.

2. Anonymous account

On first launch, the app automatically creates an anonymous account with Convex Auth. It does not ask for a name, email, phone number or password. The session keys of the account are kept in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain). On the server, a random user ID and session records identify the account.

The app has no feature to move or sync the account to another device, and the account is not linked to an email address. So when you email us, we cannot always tell which anonymous account is yours (see Retention and deletion).

3. Data stored on our server

The following data is stored in our database on Convex, linked to your anonymous account:

You can remove your courses and absence records in the app at any time. You can change your faculty and class group.

Announcements, exam schedules, the academic calendar, events, communities, transport, map and food information come from public sources. They are not personal data and are not linked to your account.

4. Data that stays on your device

The following stays only on your device. The app code does not write it to our database:

The communities you follow. To show their upcoming events, the list is sent to the server as a query, but it is not stored with your account.
Your reminder settings and scheduled local notifications.
Your language choice (also stored in your profile).
Widget data: the next class and exam shown by the home screen widget.

5. Assistant and AI

When you send a question to the assistant, our server sends the following to the AI provider we configured, to generate the answer:

Your message and earlier messages in the same conversation (up to the last 20 messages),
Public information the question needs (for example the exam schedule, regulations, announcements),
If the question is about your own courses or absences: the timetable of the courses you added, their exams and your absence records.

The default provider in the app code is OpenAI. The provider processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. If we change the provider, we will update this page.

Do not write your name, student number, passwords, health information or other sensitive details to the assistant. It does not need them.

The same provider also generates short summaries, categories and English translations of announcements. This uses only public announcement texts, not your data.

6. Location and maps

Location permission is optional. If you allow it, your location is used on your device to show where you are on the campus map. To find the stop nearest to you, your location is rounded to about 100 metres and sent to our server as a query. The app code does not write your location to our database and keeps no location history. Location is used only while the app is open.

On iOS, the map is shown with Apple Maps. When you ask for directions, the destination coordinates go to Apple Maps (or Google Maps if Apple Maps is not available). These services process data under their own privacy policies. Part of the map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors.

7. Calendar

When you add a class or exam to your calendar, the iOS event screen opens and you confirm it. The app does not read the existing events in your calendar and does not send calendar data to our server.

8. Notifications

Notification permission is optional. Exam, class, academic calendar and event reminders are scheduled on your device as local notifications. No data goes to the server for them.

The current version of the app does not send a push notification token to our server. Our server is prepared to store an Expo push token and your device platform (iOS or Android), linked to your account, for future alerts about important announcements and exam changes. If we turn this on, we will update this policy. Notifications would then be delivered through Expo's push service and Apple's notification service.

9. Service providers

We do not sell your data. We use these services to run the app:

Convex: server, database and anonymous account system. The server data above is stored on Convex and can be processed on servers outside Türkiye.
OpenAI (or the configured AI provider): assistant answers, search and announcement summaries.
Expo: app updates. The app connects to Expo's servers to check for updates. These requests can include standard technical information such as IP address, app version and platform.
Apple: App Store, Apple Maps and the notification service.

Images of announcements, events and communities can load directly from their source sites (for example atilim.edu.tr). Links you open in the app (for example university pages, EGO, ticket sites, Instagram) follow the policies of those sites. These sites can see standard connection information such as your IP address.

10. Ads and tracking

The app has no ads. We did not add any advertising, analytics or tracking SDK to the app. We do not use your data for advertising and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

11. Retention and deletion

Server data is kept while the anonymous account exists. To delete your account and associated data, open Settings > Account and data > Delete my account and data in the app. After confirmation, account access ends immediately. Your profile, course selections, absence records, assistant conversations and account sessions are permanently deleted in the background. If an assistant response is running, deletion waits for that work to stop.

App reminders, followed communities and widget content are cleared on your device. Delete events you added to your device calendar using your calendar app. Records retained by the AI provider under its own policy are not deleted by this action. Creating a new anonymous account does not restore old data.

Uninstalling the app does not delete the server account. For help with deletion or privacy, write to demirbulbuloglu61@gmail.com. Never send passwords, verification codes or student information system login details.

12. This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. It is hosted on Vercel. Vercel can process standard technical information such as IP addresses to serve the site.

13. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the app changes and show the date at the top. The app is designed for university students and is not directed at children. Questions: demirbulbuloglu61@gmail.com
